YouTube was the beginning of my video editing career. After a unique experience in a game of Dota, I decided to make a video of it and share it with the friends I experienced it with. One of them posted it on reddit, and when it received 300 000 views I decided to make more. After several more videos I leveraged the 1.5 million views I'd collected and got a job working for a YouTuber, Kevin "Purge" Godec, who specialized in guides for new Dota players. I edited several guides with him, most notably an educational series with former Star Craft personality "Day9". I prepared videos and graphics for their weekly streams, and when the lessons ended we created a short form version of the course, divided into the "Dota Basics" and "Learn Dota" series. We made several more guides together.
After a while working with Kevin, he reffered me to Jake "SirActionSlacks" Kanner, a stage host and content creator in the Dota scene. We made several videos going into the world and characters of Dota 2, each video getting hundreds of thousands of views.
